Kids Environments
On Sundays at Lake City Church, we work hard to provide fun, energetic, and safe environments for your kids to experience the joy and love of Jesus while they learn from the Bible in engaging environments. We realize some families desire to keep their children with them for worship and we whole-heartedly encourage this! For those who prefer to utilize our Kids Ministry Environments, you can learn a little more about each environment and what you can expect from our Kids Ministry Team below.
Elementary
Kids in 1st Grade through 5th Grade will begin the morning with their parents in our main worship gathering. After the music and just prior to the sermon, the kids will be led into an age-appropriate environment in the adjacent room. They will play games, be taught from the Bible, and even have small groups in which they can process what they are learning.
Preschool to Kindergarten
Kids in this age group will participate in singing, playing, and being taught age-appropriate lessons from the Bible. Our hope is to show them how much fun church can be while we actually learn and grow to become more like Jesus.
Toddlers & Nursery
We believe every child should be engaged in a way that helps them to know and experience the love of God. Even though kids in this age group might not be able to talk or understand everything that is going on around them, we promise they will be loved and cared for in a way that communicates God's love for them.
We take the safety and security of your children very seriously. All of our Kids Ministry Volunteers are screened, background-checked, and go through a rigorous safety and security training.
